Prep hair with Thickening Mousse and rough dry hair 70% dry

Blow dry in sections, over directing with a round brush at the roots to add volume

Spray Kenra Platinum Hot Spray 20 on 1 inch sections and curl each section parallel to the part using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron. Pin curls with double prong pins and let it cool

Section hair from ear to ear, brush out curls in back section with a boar bristle brush, and create a low pony tail. Secure with band. Split the pony behind the band and loop pony through the split.

Lightly tease hair in pony and then smooth the under portion with a brush and tuck the remaining hair half way through the split section to create a chignon. Secure with bobby pins

take 2 inch sections from one side, loosely twist away from face, and cross it to the opposite side of the chignon Secure with hair pin  Take a 2 inch section from the other side, loosely twist away from face, and cross hair to the opposite side of the chignon secure with pin and repeat creating a crisscross action.

Lightly tease your twists to help hold the shape you are creating in place.
